Fashion Training at BELART INSTITUTE OF TEXTILE AND DESIGNS
Belart institute is situated in Abeokuta, Southwestern Nigeria, the acclaimed home of tie and dye, a branch of indigenous textile technology in Africa.

Our institute has attracted students from across Nigeria, with some of our products raising the banners abroad, including Ghana and the United Kingdom. Beneficiaries include undergraduates, unemployed graduates, Youth Corp members, state and federal civil servants, private institutions, Out-of-school teenagers, among others. We have also trained for churches in youth empowerment, capacity building, and skills acquisition.

These include the Redeemed Christian Church of God, New Covenant Church, The Apostolic Church, and Winners Chapel.

Our approach to training and knowledge impartation is unique. We possess the pedagogic efficacy that will deliver result even to the slowest among learners.

We look forward to a highly productive time training those great destinies under your care, and an invitation for further discussion will be taken as a right step in the right direction.

3. Human capital development.
Not just the IQ but more in-depth our aptitude and essence. With the development of our human capital and essence. We’ll be full of competence and empowered for administration, fit for a general role.

These three aspects of competence and refinement are to prepare us for individual success ( including financial freedom ) service, leadership, and power.

In this vein, we will be working hard at our workshops to make it intensive, relevant, and we shall be taking our interactive sections more seriously.

If we can take this challenge, we will be pleasantly surprised at the new grounds we’ll break into.

This mark is the tweak that sets Belart Institute apart (in a class of her own ).

WHO WE ARE

Belart is a voice seeking to reposition Africa to her rightful place by breaking the circles of underdevelopment, poverty, and backwardness that has bedeviled so richly endowed a people.

We believe that the greatest resources in the continent are the vast human resources therein, which has been hitherto left unattended. This has resulted in unemployment, violence, drug abuse, and other vices in the society, of which women and the girl child are the most vulnerable.

Hence belart seek to actively give expression to this impression by exposing people to limitless opportunities in skills like Textile Design, Fashion Design, Accessories and Souvenir Designs, among others that are yet unfolding. This will set any beneficiary on the sure path of self-reliance and financial freedom We are registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

HEAR MOYO OUT…

Friday 6th May 2016
I joined Belart institute on Friday, 6th May 2016 and my first-day experience at Belart was a confirmation that I was in the right place. On the first day, I was part of the essence workshop where we talked about real success, tracing it back to the beginning. This was a very impacting workshop for me, and I was empowered afterward. I also learned how to cut a pattern for a T. top, I learned the body parts involved in sewing for the “bodice block” and also how to take a full measurement for the body…at the end of the day and week at large, I had learned how to successfully draft a pattern for a T. top and construct a T. Top.
…Moyosore Dosumu just graduated from Covenant University, Nigeria. This was culled from her weekly report in the Fashion Design Class.
